About Myself
Samuel Braima, born on the 18th of August 1983, is an accomplished individual with a diverse range of experiences and achievements. Hailing from West Africa, he embarked on a remarkable journey that led him to become a successful entrepreneur and advocate for social change.
After completing his early education, Samuel attended The Milton Margai College of Education and Technology, where he pursued his passion for mathematics and conflict resolution. This foundation laid the groundwork for his future endeavors in problem-solving and critical thinking.
Through his entrepreneurial ventures and philanthropic efforts, Samuel Braima has become an inspiration to many. His dedication to making a positive impact on society is evident in his business endeavors and the transformative work of The Zarlux Foundation. Today, Samuel continues to strive for excellence, using his skills and resources to create lasting change and uplift communities in need.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Samuel is a devoted family man. He cherishes his role as a husband, father, uncle, brother, cousin always striving to create a nurturing and loving environment for his loved ones. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities, watching sports reading, and engaging in thought-provoking conversations.
Education and Experience
Samuel relocated to the United States through a family resettlement program for refuges. He left the war thrown countries of Liberia and Sierra Leone, where the devastation and memories of war is still felt up to this day. Eager to broaden his horizons, enrolled at Ohio State University, where he pursued a degree in Economics. During his time there, Samuel gained valuable knowledge and skills in financial management and strategic planning.
Following his studies at Ohio State, Samuel settled in Columbus, Ohio, and began to make his mark in the business world. In March of 2012, he became the proud owner of Ultimate Care Supported Living, a company dedicated to providing exceptional care services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Under Samuel’s leadership, Ultimate Care Supported Living has grown and flourished, gaining a reputation for its commitment to excellence and compassion. Ultimate Care now hires over one hundred and fifty employees.
Samuel also partnered with his brother to set up another agency in New Jersey called Equal Care Supported Living. This company was established in May of 2017, and now has a revenue of over $700,000 a year.
Samuel’s success in the developmental disability industry, Samuel ventured further by establishing Zarlux Inc, a conglomerate composed of various enterprises. Zarlux Inc includes Zarlux Car Rental, Zarlux Clothing, Zarlux Entertainment, Zarlux Lounge, and most notably, The Zarlux Foundation.

This has directly benefited communities by reducing maternal and infant mortality rates and improving overall health outcomes.

Samuel’s approach goes beyond short-term solutions. He understands the importance of sustainability and has implemented long-term strategies to address the underlying factors contributing to maternal and infant health issues. This includes advocating for policy changes, collaborating with governments and organizations, and supporting community development projects that uplift the socio-economic conditions of vulnerable populations.
